Prime Feeds and Flour Mill has commenced production in Ewu, Edo State, Nigeria. The Onojie of Ewu (Eilu Kingdom) Barr. Abdul-Razak Yusuf Isesele, Ojeifo 111, disclosed this Monday during the 2nd edition of the Eilu Cultural Festival.
Prime feed replaced the defunct former Bendel Feed and Flour Mills Ltd. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, leader of Christ Embassy, a megachurch in Nigeria that has spread around the world, is said to own the Mill.
Also, Christ Embassy built and run Inner City Mission School in Idunwele-Ewu. The Nursery and Primary schools have free Tuition, Uniforms, books, bags, and feeding for all students.
With production started at Prime Feed and Flour Mills and Inner-City Mission school commissioned, Ewu is expected to record an economic boost. The official opening ceremony of the Mill will hold within two months, according to the Onojie of Ewu.
There is no gainsaying the fact that the dynamic economic life in Ewu would bounce back when the company becomes fully operational.
It is important and necessary to mention our son, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and thank him with a gargantuan mouth for making all these developments possible. He is a true and worthy offspring of the Ewu Kingdom. And our prayer for him is that God would continue to bless him and grant him long life.

The Monarch also appealed to other Ewu sons and daughters at home and abroad to support the development of the city.
He thanked the state governor for the work done on the Ewu gully erosion and appealed to the governor to commence work on the second phase of the project.
Highlights of the festival include processions from different communities of Eilu Land. Participants showcased colorful and elegant cultural music and dresses.
He called on Nigerians to be peaceful and shun all actions capable of causing crises, anarchy, or death as the February 2023 elections draw closer. He advised all to vote wisely for those persons who can attract developments to Ewu and Nigeria. He warned against accepting money in exchange for votes.
The city known as Ewu is situated in Esan Central Local Government Area, about 100 kilometers north of Benin City, the capital of Edo State, Nigeria.
Communities that formed Ewu city are Eguare-Ewu, Ehanlen-Ewu, Ihenwen-Ewu, Uzogholo-Ewu, Ukhiodo-Ewu, Idunwele-Ewu, Eko-Ojeme, Oghodogbor, and Ukpeko Ori. Ewu is bounded in the north by Agbede, in the southeast by Irrua, and in the southwest by Ekpoma.
